Christmas Paddle, Saturday 7 December 2024
WHERE: Brentford Boating Arch, Kew Bridge: https://www.chelseakayakclub.co.uk/about-the-club/club-locations/
What3Words: Jelly.Probe.Cards
WHEN: Saturday 7 December 2024 meeting time 1:00pm, on the water (OTW) 2pm
Aiming to be off the water by 3:30pm
This is a Christmas paddle, where we will paddle down river against the flow to Barnes and stop on the foreshore for a hot drink and a mince pie before returning with the tide to Kew Bridge. Please bring any waterproof fairy lights to decorate your boat and wear a festive hat! Afterwards we will meet in the Arches kitchen to have some nibbles and drinks. If you are not able to make the paddle, you can still join us at the Arches about 4pm onwards.
Please arrive at The Arches closest to the river, on the North East side of Kew Bridge. Please arrive on time, so we can have boats and kit ready and can be on the water at the scheduled start time.
If you are running late, or for other changes, please message (not email) the session leaders at least an hour before. This is important so the entire group is not waiting for you!
